The KundenSystem loyalty programme differs from the GastroSystem loyalty programme through deeper CRM integration: points are linked to customer profiles, lifetime value is visible, and marketing triggers (newsletter, push) can respond to loyalty programme events.
Points, tiers and cross-location accounts
Points are credited per purchase — configurable by amount or visit counter. The account is cross-location: collect at branch A, redeem at branch B. Tiers based on cumulative points give different benefits. KundenSystem shows the tier status in the customer's CRM profile — you can see at a glance which customers have gold status and how long they've been with you.
Redemption mechanics: when and how to redeem
You define redemption options: 100 points = €5 off, 200 points = free product from a defined list, 500 points = free delivery for one month. At checkout the customer chooses their preferred option on the redemption screen. The system checks the point balance, deducts and logs the redemption in the customer profile. Redemption history is visible to you and the customer.
LTV display and segmentation by loyalty programme status
KundenSystem shows for every customer: total revenue, points history, tier status and last redeemed reward. Create segments from your loyalty programme: all gold customers receive exclusive newsletters, all customers close to a tier upgrade receive a motivational push. Segmentation by LTV enables A/B tests: is a higher discount worth it for high-LTV customers?
Marketing triggers from loyalty programme events
Loyalty programme events automatically trigger marketing actions: guest reaches gold status → automatic congratulatory email with exclusive offer. Guest hasn't redeemed in 60 days → reactivation push with bonus points. You configure these automations once in KundenSystem — after that they run without manual intervention.
GDPR-compliant marketing opt-in
Loyalty programme members explicitly consent to marketing opt-in at sign-up — separately for email and push notifications. Opt-in is logged with timestamp and IP address. Unsubscribe with one click in any email or in the app. KundenSystem manages opt-in status automatically — you only send to guests who have consented and don't need to track this manually.

The GastroSystem loyalty programme is integrated directly into the ordering app and focuses on the ordering phase. The KundenSystem loyalty programme is CRM-based: deeper customer profiles, LTV display, segmentation marketing and cross-franchise accounts. For simple repeat-customer retention, GastroSystem is sufficient. For multi-tier relationship marketing we recommend KundenSystem.
Can customers see their points balance in the app?
Yes. Every customer can see in the ordering app or KundenSystem app their current points balance, tier status, available redemption options and recent activity.
How long are points retained?
Configurable. Default: points expire after 12 months without activity. A reminder push goes out beforehand. Gold customers can be exempted from expiry.
