Physical voucher SKUs for the counter
Create voucher items as physical SKUs: 'Voucher €25', 'Voucher €50'. Guests buy the voucher at the counter or online, receive a code by email or as a printout. The code is single-use (or configurable: multiple uses until expiry). Voucher sales appear as a separate line item in the daily close — cleanly separated from product revenue.
Digital codes for promos and new customers
Create promo codes without a physical equivalent: 'SUMMER10' = 10% off, valid 30 days, max. 500 redemptions. Share the code on Instagram, in your newsletter or as a QR code in the window display. The system tracks redemptions in real time — you can see exactly how much traffic a campaign generated. New-customer codes can be restricted to 'first order only'.
Partial redemption and balance function
Activate partial redemption: a €30 voucher can be redeemed against a €12 order, the remaining balance (€18) stays on the code. The guest sees the remaining balance in the app. This is especially important for guests giving vouchers as gifts — the recipient shouldn't be forced to spend €30 in one go.
B2B bulk for corporate clients and events
Create bulk codes for corporate events: 50× 'Lunch voucher €12' for a company giving their employees a free lunch. Codes are exported as CSV and sent to the company. Each code is single-use. Booking runs as a B2B voucher sale with a separate invoice. For team lunches, company parties and incentive programmes.
ROI analytics: which campaign is worth it?
The dashboard shows per voucher campaign: how many codes were issued, how many redeemed, what revenue was generated through redemption, what the average ticket of voucher users is compared to regular users. If a 10% discount code generates 50 orders with an average of €22, that's a ROI of €1,100 revenue against €110 in discount cost.

Common questions about vouchers
Can customers redeem multiple vouchers per order?
Configurable. Default is one redemption per order. You can allow multiple vouchers per order, or combine voucher + loyalty points. Clear combination rules prevent unintended double discounts.
How do customers buy vouchers as gifts?
In the ordering app there is a voucher category. Customers choose the voucher amount, pay directly and immediately receive a code by email that they can forward. Alternatively they can have the voucher email sent directly to another email address.
Does a voucher expire automatically after a date?
Yes. You set the expiry date at creation. At 23:59 on the expiry date the code is invalid. Optional: a reminder email 7 days before expiry to the code holder.
